Mulch is important in protecting your plants and trees. Mulch helps conserve moisture, helps protect your plants from extreme high and low temperatures, improves fertility and health of the soil, reduces weeds and enhances the visual appeal of the area. With this being said, it is recommended to have a 3 inch layer of mulch in your flowerbeds and around trees.

There are many different types of soil and compost. We carry anything from just a sifted soil to amended soils that are great for many uses. Just a sifted soil is good for filling in big holes and projects that don't require an amended soil for growing in. Amended soils are great for flowerbeds, gardens, your yard and many other applications. Compost has many uses as well, from topdressing or tilling your lawn with it to mixing it in flowerbed and gardens. Compost helps enrich the existing soil by breaking up clay and helps retain moisture in sandy soils.
