I was in your Yorktown location 2 Saturdays ago. It was my first time there, and it was also my first time buying mulch. I was a bit uneasy because the only direction I had from my husband was that I should "get a yard of mulch". I was immediately helped when I walked in by a very friendly man. He was very informative and helpful. The process was quick and painless.
Later that day, we realized that we probably should have gotten 2 yards. My husband called the store. They said they were closing in 15 minutes. It takes about that long to get there from our house. The lady on the phone told my husband to go ahead and come in. She would wait for him. So he came andquickly got another yard.
I loved the customer service we received at your store. It was so refreshing to see.
We will definetly be back.

Last year I worked with your professionals to get my lawn into shape. After what seemed like a bad start, HUGE RAIN STORMS for three days!, and discussions with the owner, my lawn is the best on the block. I do have a little crab grass that needs to be killed, but I am sure a few minutes with your professionals, this small problem will clear up.

"I am writing you to let you know how much I appreciate two members of your PHM team- Colleen and Mark. Colleen helped me & my husband select hoogendorn hollies for an area of my yard. She took time with us to answer our questions, offer advice and contacted Mark when we told her we'd like 30. Both she and Mark promised to follow-up with us to ensure the grower had them still in stock and could deliver them to you. BOTH called me with the news that they were available and that they'd help with this or any other plant need I had. Mark called me at work, offered to order the plants for me and called several days later when they arrived. He wanted no money in advance and said he would hold them for me. I had a vacation planned & couldn't pick the plants up until yesterday. Mark was there & he had them ready just as promised. He loaded them in my truck with care and took the time to talk to me about my planting questions. I asked about another plant and he told me he had more coming in later this week. He said he'd pick 5 of the best & hold them for me. I was surprised when he said: 'I've still got your phone no., and I'll call you when they're in.' Mark and Colleen are EXCEPTIONAL. I hope you let them know this often. While I have never met anyone on your staff that wasn't kind & helpful, these two people will keep me coming back to PHM."
